Get ready for 2027…….

Wow, what another great challenge - the Continental Challenge finished on the 30th September 2026.

It's hard to know where to begin .....

We had a 30% increase in participants compared to last year. We smashed the pledged km target of 25,000 km that participants set as a target, achieving 37,000 km and we completed 3 continents - plus part of Asia - while falling short of the 7 continents this time (100,000km). A fantastic effort and well done to everybody who got involved. Many of you smashed your personal targets.

What is even more important are the stories and moments of magic that have been generated by all the participants.

In terms of the impact - many charities have benefited to date, and funds continue to come in. You have all collectively raised over £24,000 supporting 22 different charities listed on Give Wheel - it truly makes a difference, and as an example, click HERE on this video from our sponsor Binit, who supported Honeypot. This is the essence of the impact we can have.

Finally, the events and walks where people come together are an amazing highlight. The numerous pictures of teams - some at the top of the Welsh mountains in arduous conditions; others enjoying the sunshine of the Surrey Hills and Virginia Water - but all with smiles on their faces!

2027 seems a long way off but watch this space!

The “Challenge” is simple and inclusive

  1. Join the Challenge as an individual, team, school, or club.

  2. Set a personal or team kilometre goal that’s right for you. (You can walk, run, swim, cycle, count your steps, or use mobility equipment.)

  3. 2027 registration details will be announced in the near future

If you can’t participate, you can still make a difference by sponsoring a participant and sharing our mission.

Challenge for Change works on so many levels - seeing teams and individuals compete with each other while being part of a collective team created real excitement during the event.

Over the first 2 years we have collectively raised over £69,000 supporting multiple children
